The Dallas Cowboys announced they would be teaming up with Marvel Comics to develop co-branded merchandise featuring Marvel Super Heroes Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, and many other Super Heroes decked out in Cowboys' team colors, logos and jerseys.
This is a Great Marketing move on the part of the Dallas Cowboys. But for the Marvel Super Heroes? Guess that all depends on weather or not the Cowboys start, "winning"?"We are excited to team up with Marvel Entertainment to create such a unique line of apparel for our fans," said Jerry Jones Jr..
The Marvel/Dallas Cowboys collection for infants, kids, and adults will include t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, caps and onesies. The line will debut this summer at mass, mid-tier and sporting goods retailers as well as at the Cowboys Stadium and Cowboys fan shops.
The T-Shirts Look Great! And yeah, weather the Cowboys win or not, I will be buying my fair share. But if you will note the "Cowboys Have Super Fans" t-shirt to the right. You will note the Marvel Superheroes, Captain America, Thor, and Spiderman, with Cowboys Stadium in the background. So now I'm wondering, aside from the clothing line.- Will we now see the Marvel Superheroes posted on banners outside Cowboys Stadium?
- Will Cowboys Stadium be the location for the next annual Dallas Comic-Con?
- Will the Cowboys be among the guest at the next Dallas Comic-Con?
It seems unlikely.
But hey, who would have ever figured on a Captain America's Team Dallas Cowboys?
